With CODESYS TargetVisu for Linux SL, you can use almost any Linux-based device with an integrated or connected display to show and operate the predefined visualization of a CODESYS application. The deployment of the TargetVisu runtime system and the development of the user interfaces of the visualization are carried out together with the configuration of the IEC 61131-3 application directly in the CODESYS Development System.

The “POU Visu Generator” tool generates visualizations of SFC/LD programs and SFC/LD function blocks. These generated visualizations represent the online state of the corresponding program code. For example, in the generated visualizations from SFC blocks, the current program step is highlighted in color during program runtime.

2-Axis MnJoystick is a visualisation element which is located in the Visu ToolBox under “MnControls Light”.

This joystick can be used to control movements in two dimensions.

Functional description

The joystick lever can be dragged within a given radius and returns following values:

• X Value -> Deviation in the X direction from the center (-100 to 100, rest position = 0)
• Y Value -> Deviation in the Y direction from the center (-100 to 100, rest position = 0)
• Angle Value -> Angle to center ( 0 – 360 degree)
• Radius Value -> Deviation from center (0 – 100)

Licensing:

The “FB Visu Creator” plug-in can be used to automatically create visualizations from function blocks (FBs). Attributes can be used to control which function blocks, inputs and outputs are to be visualized. One visualization is created for each block. The generated visualizations can then be linked to the desired FB instances via a frame.

The product provides a license key that removes the limitation on the number of variables in CODESYS HMI SL.

CODESYS HMI SL is a software package that is installed on a remote computer to equip it with a graphical user interface (HMI). This new HMI support allows it to combine and visualize the data of one or more CODESYS V2 and CODESYS V3 controllers (data sources) on one remote HMI device. Since CODESYS V3.5 SP17 controllers with an OPC UA Server can also be visualized. A new datasource with OPC UA Client functionality is provided. The HMI SL can also be operated in conjunction with redundancy. An additional redudancy license is required for this.
